Join us tonight at Hans’ Bier Haus (2523 Quenby St. at Kirby Dr.). Even if you can’t tell your boccino from your pallino (hint: they’re the same thing) on the bocce court, and there should be plenty of beer to quaff. Temperatures should be rather nice, a light jacket or sweater might be a good idea.

Apparently, there’s some basketball game going on in town. Neither of the teams are from around these parts, I hear, but for some reason people are pretty excited about it. Whatever. We’ll be enjoying the windy weather and a pint or so of beer at Hans’ Bier Haus (2523 Quenby St. at Kirby Dr.), at 8 PM. They do have a couple of TVs so if you need to keep up with the game, you’ve got that going for you, which is nice. Park on the street as the IBC parking lot is off limits.

Tonight will be the last warm evening for the week, so let’s meet up at our favorite beleaguered bocce ball biergarten, Hans’ Bier Haus (2523 Quenby St. at Kirby Dr.), at 8 PM. While we might get some snow later in the week, Hans’ had a couple of highly-localized ice storms last year, so the roof is blue-tarped right now. They’re still pouring beers, though! Today kicks off Houston Beer Week. Lots of great stuff going on, but for us, it’s always beer week in Houston. So, go out to something interesting, crowded, and more expensive, or join us for a decidedly more low-key evening at Hans‘ (2523 Quenby St. at Kirby Dr.) As we’re fond of saying, there’s an 80% chance of no rain tonight.
